Synopsis:
alabama. a black sheriff, Ben and a white writer, Herman meet in a graveyard the day after a funeral. they discover that they were both sexually abused by the deceased - Hal Benson - when they were boys. Benson's widow arrives but leaves. then a local judge who tells them that he thinks Benson may still be alive. When the judge goes Benson arrives. Ben and Herman now have the chance to confront their abuser

Barbecue, The

Synopsis:
an ultra conservative Republican businessman and his wife decide to throw a Fourth of July barbecue party. But they have left it too late for their friends to be able to attend. a fawning employee of the businessman and his wife are invited - they invite some of their friends - who invite their friends. Soon the house is full of party-goers who are consuming far to much booze. None of the party people hold the same views as the businessman - and fights soon break out

Notre Dame have suffered a heavy loss against USC and on the train journey back home their coach - Knute Rockne reflects on his life. a poor immigrant boy he rises to be the greatest coach at Notre Dame. along the way sacrificing his family and ethics over one of his players George "the Gipper" Gipp.

Viagra Monologues, The

Synopsis:
at the retirement home one of the residents, a male nurse and a dance instructor all have need of Viagra for the big night ahead. the girl friends of all three are expecting big things after the Tango Night Dance. Trouble is they only have one tablet between them. the resident and the dance instructor have half each leaving the nurse in the lurch. It is only next morning they discover it was a placebo meant for another resident
