Jesse And The Bandit Queen

Synopsis:
two-character love story about the lives and times of the bandits Jesse James and Belle Starr. The play follows them through sixteen years of stormy romance, from obscurity to great notoriety, and finally to their deaths. In the course of the play, Belle and Jesse play themselves and all other figures in their lives. They find and tangle with one another, play one another, and finally become one another.
