Meet John Doe

Synopsis:
In the middle of the Depression, anne Mitchell looses her newspaper job. She writes a hoax letter to the paper as if from "John Doe" stating that he will jump off the Brooklyn Bridge on Christmas eve. the letter causes a sensation when published and "John Doe" is offered a column in the newspaper.
