Long Smoldering, The

Synopsis:
Unique in the massive literature of the Holocaust, the play grapples, not with the event itself, but with the two thousand years of racist persecution that prepared the way for what Hitler hoped would be the Final Solution. Despite weight of material, action is continuous from morn to morn, no flashbacks.
