MICHAEL HAGINS

Nationality:    African American
email:    n/a     Website:    n/a

Literary Agent:    n/a

Michael Hagins was born in Brooklyn and raised in Florida. He attended college at Florida School of the Arts and Florida Atlantic University, graduating Magna cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Theatre in 2001. Michael would like to give credit to Ray Rodriguez, his first true teacher in stage combat, and to all of the cast and crew members of previous incarnations of Hit and Match for helping make the show something special and now everlasting! Michael won Best Playwriting Award for One Act\Short Form of 2013's production, and the show was nominated for 6 other awards. In addition, he has twice been nominated for Fight Choreography, once for Hit and Match. The majority of his plays focus on his fight choreography background, as more than 3\4 of his plays involve swordplay. Michael is a self-defense and stage combat teacher for C.A.G.E. Theatre Company, of which he is also Artistic Director. He is lover of Shakespeare and hopes to one day own his own complex of theaters.

Quest Of the Hero!

Synopsis:
the story centers around young man Chester and his quest to save the princess while enduring loads of fighting, ridiculous sidekicks and dangerous villains in his hope to finally get laid. Quest of the Hero! is a satire on old-school Nintendo games, old-school role playing games such as Dungeons and Dragons, and new-school stage combat, along with many homages to stereotypes and the hipster culture.
