Jason Half is a graduate of Ohio University's playwriting program and the recipient of the 2010 Scott McPherson Playwriting award and the anthony Trisolini Arts fellowship. His film the Ballad of Faith Divine won the Best Feature award at Ohio's 2009 Colony Film Festival. Jason was playwright-in-residence for new play festivals at University of Pittsburgh and Marietta College. He has also received productions under the name Jason Hall.

Among the Oats

Synopsis:
Three men struggle to live within the confines of an oatmeal canister. In a series of six short plays, art, Bruce and Cal tackle the subjects of politics, finance, sex, recreation, fashion and (eventually) death, always trying to co-exist without driving each other crazy.

among the Oats is A cycle of six one-act plays. the plays "Dream," "Fashion," And "Death" were included in the 2008 Minnesota Fringe Festival.

Tulip Brothers, The

Synopsis:
the tulip bulb market is on the rise in 17th century Holland, and Nils DeGroot sees the opportunity to make his fortune. He needs help, but brother Pieter knows that life offers up no assurances beyond the sin of mankind. With one man betting on the future and another cynical of the past, Nils wagers more than he can afford while Pieter must pay a price he did not expect.
