Synopsis:
Work hard at school. Get good grades. Work hard at work get a good salary. Die happy. Woop woop.....But it won't work if there are no meaningful jobs to move to. - The Evening Standard. Wednesday 28th November 2012. With a first from university and the pathway of his life about to begin talented graduate, Roger, should be psyched. However the world is not ready for him and he is not ready for the world. He hides, clinging to pizza boxes, his guitar and a bottle of Chateau Lafitte 1990 while everyone else attempts to clean up around him. Funny, contemporary & poignant with new music and choreography: Knock Yourself Out examines the issue of mis-sold opportunity to a young generation and the desperate struggle to find meaning for their lives in a witless and failing, urbanized world of underemployment, rioting and class divisions.
