Synopsis:
Depicts the move of anna and Joe, middle-class couple, who in mid l970s prepare to leave rural environment for supposedly better lifestyle in a bigger city. Birmingsham is symbol of all and any urban locale while being satirized specifically. Within the tragicomedy is the one act play "One Day in the Life of Woman" portraying the loneliness of the displaced housewife (broadcast April l5 '84 on TIC (Talking Information Center)Radio theatre Workshop for the blind in Marshfield, Mass.
