Armless

Armless
John is a normal man, except for one thing: he wants his arms cut off. John suffers from Body Integrity Identity Disorder, a psychological condition in which an individual paradoxically doesn't feel "whole" unless he loses one or more major limbs. When John attempts to find a doctor willing to perform this operation, it triggers a twisted romp filled with mistaken identities, missed chances, and tragic consequences. a provocative farce about notions of personal freedom and medical ethics

Gorilla Man

Synopsis:
Waking one morning to find thick fur growing on the backs of his hands, young Billy discovers the awful truth his mother has been hiding from him for 14 years. Cast from his home, he sets out on a journey to find his father, the legendary Gorilla Man. Combining influences as diverse as Tod Browning, Tom Sawyer, and T. Rex, Gorilla Man is a strikingly original new music-theater piece. It's a darkly comic coming-of-age tale that explores issues of violence, identity, and free will against the backdrop of a warped American landscape

President Harding Is A Rock Star

Synopsis:
as bizarre and surreal as President Harding is, the real President Harding, and his times, were more bizarre and surreal, and to fully appreciate the musical you have to know what really happened. after the presidency of the dyspeptic intellectual Woodrow Wilson, America was ready for something completely different. We got it in Harding, a sweet, dignified-looking fellow straight out of Central Casting, and dumber than a toaster. He knew it, too. He frequently confessed to friends that he was not up to the Presidency. Indeed, he may not have been up to any job. He had been hospitalized five times over his life for nervous exhaustion by the time he was nominated. When he was not overtaxed by thinking, though, he was a genuinely swell guy. He supplemented his dimness with a manic need to please people. His father, who survived him, noted that had he been a woman he would have been "in a family way all the time" because of his inability to say no. Harding's father, a country doctor, would have been a better President than Harding. Harding's dog would have been a better President. Harding's insatiable desire to please had predictable results: his friends betrayed it. Interior Secretary albert Fall gave a no-bid oil lease to somebody who loaned Fall money at no interest; attorney General Harry Daugherty presided over a kickback scam with bootleggers; and there were a half-dozen other scandals involving high government officials. In the meantime, Harding vigorously and enthusiastically indulged his taste for young women, impregnating the lovely Nan Britton (in a White House closet (here transported to the Oval Office desk). He hosted boozy poker parties in the White House, flaunting the prohibition laws he was sworn to defend. He was a mess.

Very Merry Unauthorized Children's Scientology Pageant, A

Very Merry Unauthorized Children's Scientology Pageant, A
a jubilant cast of children celebrate the controversial religion in uplifting pageantry and song. the actual teachings of the Church of Scientology are explained and dissected against the candy-colored backdrop of a traditional nativity play. Pageant is a musical biography of the life of L. Ron Hubbard, with child-friendly explanations of Hubbard's notion of the divided mind (embodied by the lovely identical twins Emma and Sophie Whitfield in matching brain outfits' and a device called the e-meter (or electropsychometer', used to monitor the human psyche, which is demonstrated by stick puppets. Grade school children, portraying Tom Cruise, Kirstie alley, John Travolta, and other less starry Scientologists, brings the controversial Church of Scientology to jubilant life in story and song.
