Actor/Singer/Playwright, Lynn Lobban made her Broadway debut in the Tony-nominated musical, Quilters, after appearing at Playwrights Horizons (Martin Shermans Rio Grande), Manhattan Theatre Club, and various regional theaters. For thirty years she worked with her favorite composer, the legendary JohnWallowitch, and received a Backstage Bistro Award, garnering raves for her well-crafted cabaret shows. In July 2006 she received her MFA in Playwriting from Goddard College. Her cabaret play, Quarter to Three, had a sold-out run at the Laurie Beechman Theater in 2007. Her ten minute play, Bit of a Blow, had its world debut at the Short and Sweet Festival in Auckland, New Zealand in 2011, its US debut at the Rogue Machine Theater in Los Angeles in 2011 and will run for a week at the Short and Sweet Festival in Sydney, Australia in 2012. Her screenplay, Monkey in the Middle, is making its way around LA. Her 2012 intentions are to perform her one-woman piece, Invasion of Privacy and see her play, Hunk and Gweenie, produced. And oh, yes. To continue writing!
