Kieran Lynn trained as an actor at the Royal Scottish academy of Music and Drama, and works as a director and playwright. He has been a member of the Royal Court Young Writers programme, the Playwrights Studio Scotland mentoring programme, the BBC Sparks Residential Course and the Old Vic 24 Hour Plays. He recently completed a year-long attachment at Hampstead Theatre. Kieran's plays include the Recurring Rise and Fall (Hampstead Theatre), an advert for the army (Oran Mor, Glasgow), a Volunteer from the audience (everyman Theatre, Liverpool) and Pushing Up Poppies (Hill Street Theatre, Edinburgh, and Theatre503 London). Bunnies, another new play by Lynn, soon to be published by Oberon Books, was produced by the Bike Shed Theatre, the winners of the 2012 Peter Brook empty Space award.

Breaking The Ice
The Arctic is in danger and the only thing that can save it is bureaucracy. Frank Montgomery is the Foreign and Commonwealth Office Chief Scientific Advisor to the Arctic Council. Hes in Barrow, Alaska, at the biannual meeting of the Council in Barrow, Alaska to give the speech that will tilt the scales. The only problem is he has spilt yogurt on his suit, left his speech at the breakfast buffet and been kidnapped by militant activists. Can he make it to the back to the podium before its too late?

John Dumfries MP has lost his seat and he's hoping a walk on part on Scotland's top soap Gallus Palace will rehabilitate his tarnished public image. Angela Laing is Gallus Palace's Grande Dame  she's a hard drinking, hard smoking national treasure who has political ambitions of her own. Stuck in between them is Kate Harper; the over worked, under valued producer trying to keep the show on time, on budget and on air.
