        Judy, The Righteous         Twitcher

Judy, The Righteous

Synopsis:
"I wanted somebody who would pull their weight and get stuck in. Father Paul said. 'I won't just send you any girl. I'll send you Judy'. In that sentence there was so much promise. And here you are. . . A life saver. A saint." Judy is the newest arrival at Glory Road Christian Summer Camp. She has previous experience with minors, an excellent grasp of the scripture and an extremely close relationship with God. So close, in fact, she claims to converse with Him daily. Whatever the truth behind the claim, news of Judy's apparent gift soon shakes up the residents of Glory Road. Tensions mount and sins reveal themselves, as the once happy band struggle to keep the faith, and the peace, while questioning just how much they have sacrificed for an absent God. A new one act play written by Jonathan Neil and directed by Tom O'Brien, Judy, the Righteous questions just how much devotion we need to our own beliefs, when faced with those who are just plain holier than we are.
