Notes:
Written by William Pleasant, Fred Newman And Dan Friedman. Symphony Space, A classical theatre space, was overrun with costumed goblins who molested the Audience, As the story was played out on A 100ft. Stage. the ultra-violent nature of Pleasant's text supplanted the need for prop weapons in A play ostensibly About A war. In fact, many Audience members complained About the many guns in the production. there were Absolutely none present.

Licence To Dream

Synopsis:
License to Dream brings together nine inner-city youth and six professional modern dancer/aerialists from the acclaimed Dzul Dance company. This provocative musical is set at a summer dance camp for underprivileged kids, "Camp Development", in the Hamptons. Neither the underpaid dance counselors nor the poor campers want to be there, and certainly not with each other. Sparks fly when East New York meets East Hampton. Though only 90 miles apart, the distance between those who dream and those who have no reason to, requires more than a bridge to connect them.

Sally And Tom (the American Way)

Synopsis:
t's 1789, and teenage Sally Hemings returns from Paris with the soon-to-be president of the United States, Thomas Jefferson. She is in love with him - and she is his slave. With beautiful music by Grammy-nominated songwriter Annie Roboff, this Dramatic musical follows Sally and Tom's love affair over a quarter-century, as it becomes a scandal in the press, produces five children, and confronts Sally with the relative privileges of her life and the injustices of slavery. As avant-garde as it is entertaining, Sally and Tom (the American Way) reveals the inhuman compromise our Founding Fathers made at America's birth, the legacy of which remains with us today.
