Tim was born in Mansfield Woodhouse, Nottinghamshire 1962. He trained in the performing Arts and spent ten years working as an actor, playwright and theatre director before moving into film and tv production in the late nineties. As a playwright he won a total of four London theatre awards for his first play, Ballad of the Limehouse Rat (1992),touring nationally to great critical success. Since that time he's had five other plays produced including the high-tech musical Lucky You and the historical drama Iron Dreams,which has received three separate productions to date. Tim has written and directed several short films including the black comedy Easy Target(1998) which has been developed into a feature slated for production 2007. Other shorts include the Arts Council fundedCashpoint and the autobiographical Life after Chicken Tennis. Tim works as a freelance writer, producer and director and also runs an independent production company, Citizens' Band.
