AlumDie

Synopsis:
I wonder what Ted will look like? I wonder if Laura still lives for gossip? I wonder if Terry and Tony have stayed best friends? Questions like these cross our minds when we prepare for a class reunion. This year you may be wondering one other thing: I wonder who's going to die. That's the question facing the reunion attendees in AlumDie, an interactive murder-mystery. AlumDie place at a 20-year college reunion where the guest of honor, Professor Perkins, turns up dead before he has time to accept his award. Several of the alumni decide to search for the murderer on their own. That way they'll look like heroes and the school will be saved the embarrassment and humiliation of a long, public investigation. Among the mourners--and suspects--are the professor's life-long assistant Blaine, the school janitor, and the wife of an alumnus who is always professionally rated behind the professor. AlumDie invites the entire audience to get into the spirit of the class reunion in a number of ways as long as they are careful about not offending anyone. If Professor Perkins isn't safe, who is?

It's For You

Synopsis:
It's For You is the story of a man, a woman, and a ringing phone. A husband and wife are fast asleep when they are awakened by a phone call. Circumstances have placed their phone in another room of the house so it is not immediately answerable. Each wants the other to get up and answer the phone and as it rings a discussion ensues as to who exactly would be calling this late at night. The discussion ranges from a wrong number, to a family emergency, to God himself. Rather than spark someone to answer the phone the discussion turns to an argument where the couple re-examines the tenants of their marriage. Eventually the phone stops ringing and the couple heads back to sleep after making what they think is a turn in their relationship. But as the play ends, and the phone rings again, we see that old habits die hard.
