David D. Wright is the producing playwright of the Orisha Tales Repertory Radio Theatre Company, in New York City. He written a series of dance Dramas in the Ifa tradition, called the Orisha Cycle of Tales. these dance Dramas have been produced in such venues as the National Black Theatre, NY, the Nuyorican Poets Cafe, NY, the Schomberg Museum, NY, the American Place Theatre, NY, the Harlem School of the Arts, NY, the House of Champions, NY, the Theatre of the Riverside Church, NY, the International African Arts Festival, Brooklyn, NY, the Paul Robeson Theatre, Brooklyn, NY, Indiana University at Pennsylvania of PA., and the international Black Theatre Festival in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. David is also a multiple award winning sound designer, radio producer, and musical director.
