Colombine Theatre Agency

Colombine Theatre Agency is one of the youngest Nordic agencies - nonetheless we represent more than 300 playwrights, both of Scandinavian and international backgrounds. We handle the lion's share of Sweden's most successful plays for children and young people. We represent both the new generation of Swedish and Nordic dramatists and the most established writers and translators in the country. We work on behalf of some of the most talked-about new names from England, Germany and France, also the acknowledged greats and explosive new talent emerging in a variety of places overseas! Our role is partly to keep an eye on our authors' rights and partly to spread their work across national boundaries. But we are also an international exchange for theatres all over the Nordic region. By means of our lively contacts with foreign writers and agencies all over the globe, we stay abreast of developments on the new international theatre scene and supply manuscripts to readers at theatres in this country. Colombine Theatre Agency is situated in the Old Town of Stockholm in an 18th century house, once a labour exchange for sailors - hence its proximity to Skeppsbron (i.e. Ship Bridge).
