Jacksons Way: the Christmas Top Up Power Seminar
Synopsis:
Chris John Jackson - the life coach played by Will Adamsdale - doesn't seem too thrilled to be presenting a special Yuletide version of his motivational workshop. But that's what his contract stipulates, so that's what he's going to give us. Jackson's Way takes the form of a series of pointless and impossible acts which he calls 'Jactions': for instance, rhyming the words 'red' and 'orange', trying to halt a tea towel's descent to the floor by shouting at it, or attempting to place his hand in two locations simultaneously. The show, which is both revisiting and a reworking of the material for which Adamsdale won the Perrier Award in 2004, is character comedy at its most engaging: Jackson has become an even sadder, stranger figure over time. There are sizeable cracks in his facade, signs that both his career and his life have imploded.

I'm here to help YOU, and I want you to have a piece of my Way.Part theatre, part comedy, Jackson's Way is a modern day parody of American motivational speakers and a satire on the world of self help and corporate jargon. Victorian In the Wall, The
So far, all that's clear is that this involves a grumpy writer discovering a Victorian man living in a wall of his flat. everyone's pretty surprised. adjustments have to be made. there are probably songs too (and hitting green recycling boxes like drums*). there's a mysterious African man and there might be a music hall chanteuse. Hopefully it's like a fairy tale set in a world you may recognize, of knock-throughs and cappuccinos and recycling, where everyone has everything but somehow that's not enough.
