A tale of runaway children, webbed fingers and buried secrets. . . Erin and January live in Whitegates children's home. Running away is something they know all about. When they are washed up on the Black Middens mud, they stumble across Grampa and Heaven Eyes - a mysterious girl with webbed fingers who has a strange view of life.
