Story Boy, The

Synopsis:
Simon Utterjoy is known throughout the kingdom of Pebbly Stoneybottom as the Story Boy. the stories he tells are truly magical. the people come to him often with a concern or problem. When they do, Simon will tell one of his stories and the problem will magically be solved. Life in Pebbly Stoneybottom is good. That is until the very horrible Queen Domina, whose favorite thing is to call people names that they are not, posts one of her many decrees. the latest decree states that the men and boys in the village do not have anything interesting to say, therefore, from this day forward they will say nothing. With the help of the Cave Witch and sleepy King Timothy, Simon concocts a plan to right the wrongs the Queen continually decrees and to teach her and her three daughters a much needed lesson. the Story Boy makes a comment on the power of words and their ability to be hurtful if thrown about without concern for other's feelings. And it proves, in a fun and very theatrical way, that there is magic in the telling and listening of wonderful stories.
