No Second Acts: A Collection Of Short American Lives
Synopsis:
F. Scott Fitzgerald said that There are no second acts in American lives, and The Brick sets out to prove him right with this collection of one-act plays. Taking on themes of U.S. history, politics and culture, these little nuggets of Americana take full advantage of our constitutional right to free speech in their wild, varied and often uncouth takes on our national experience.

Suspicious Package
Synopsis:
Told via Zune Media Players, the story unfolds as audience members (only four at a time) are guided through their roles with both aural and visual cues. Video flashbacks and narrative voiceovers fill in your backstory while maps of locations and your dialogue are displayed on screen. Part theatrical experience, part live video game, Suspicious Package immerses its audience within the gritty chiaroscuro world of film noir, where not everything is black and white. as the story begins, our starring showgirl has fallen ill. Is she faking to get out of her contract? Or is her producer setting her up? Is her sister angling for her part? Will the detective get to the bottom of things before they turn deadly? The audience experiences Suspicious Package not as a detached observer but as a participant. Cast as the Detective, the Starlet, the Heiress, or the Producer in the mean streets of 1940s Williamsburg, will you be a victim of circumstance or the guilty party? Personal video players accompany you through the mystery and prompt you through your lines as you star in the show where technology, reality, theater, and film meet.
