Notes:

Original Playwright - Peter Asmussen. "The Beach was called Stranden in Danish, and did quite well. After a very succesfull run at the Royal Theatre in Copenhagen, it went on to be translated into Swedish and Norwegian, enjoying long runs there as well. I translated it after reading a few of his other works and approaching his agent for a script. Stranden was originally written in 1997. Elly Green directed the show, and it was done at the Theatre 503 in Battersea, London. We got favourable reviews, especially Time Out and The Times, which both gave us more compliments than we ever thought we could get. I was production manager on the show, and as such my heart and soul were in it." - author

Synopsis:

two modern 20-something couples take to holidaying at the same run down seaside boarding house. They become rather obsessed with one another.
