Based on David Baddiel's smash hit movie of the same name, this hilarious and heart-warming tale is the ultimate identity crisis comedy. East End Muslim Mahmoud is an ordinary family man whose life is turned upside down when he discovers that not only is he adopted, but that his birth parents are Jewish. The resulting cultural and religious chaos leads to an uproarious and insightful comedy about race, prejudice, confusion and what it really means to be yourself.
book and lyrics by David Baddiel and music by Erran Baron Cohen. Additional material by Arvind Ethan David based on screenplay by David baddiel
