Nick is a writer and producer for stage and screen. He studied journalism in his home city of Edinburgh and is a graduate of Birmingham University's MPhil in Playwrighting Studies. Nick works as a full time screenwriter in London and has two feature films in production for Bollywood release. His plays 'Prints of Denmark' and 'Killing the Dream' were produced at Tara in 2007 and 2009. He also writes yearly pantomime productions for the Red Flame Dance company, and has recently begun to work with Tara Theatre's Arts Beat youth group.

Ali Baba And the Forty Thieves

Synopsis:
Open sesame! these words are the key to a cave full of glittering treasures. When ali Baba overhears the 40 thieves entering and leaving the cave, he is delighted with his find. Camelot Christmas, A

Synopsis:
Winter in Camelot. arthur and Guineviere sit on the throne. the knights have fallen out with the faeries who have imposed a winter that will not end. It has been winter for about two years now and somebody is going to have to back down. arthur sends a messenger to the forest to invite the faeries to Camelot for peace talks and some mild dancing. That messenger is the frog prince, a frog that, kissed by a princess turned into a prince. the princess divorced him, and ever since, He has tried in vain to find a way to turn back into a frog again. He is accompanied by his friend the serving girl who secretly loves him. On the way, the two are waylaid by the feared Ninja of the Shadows who they convince to aid them in their quest. Meanwhile, Merlin tries to convince the lady of the lake to attend the peace talks as she is respected on both sides of the dispute. . .Can peace be restored to Camelot?

Killing the Dream

Synopsis:
Many dream of the glamorous life of a performer but where does the dream end and reality begin? For three young actors, struggling to survive in London, the line between the two has blurred. Only a washed-up old drunkard can save them from a malevolent spirit who plots their destruction for its own amusement. Killing the Dream is a dark comedy in which life, love and reality are pushed to breaking point.
