SCOTT BAKER starred on Broadway for twelve Seasons in the legendary OH! CALCUTTA!, performed the leading role in Las Vegas in LOVE POTION NUMBER TEN with The Coasters, The Drifters and The Platters, and broke attendance records at La Mama in New York with his GEEKCIRCUS, The Twisted Shockfest. This wild show took him to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where he received rave reviews from the press, was awarded Peoples Choice from the Manchester Guardian, and where he was the first American ever invited to perform with Edinburghs notorious late-night cabaret, THE ESTABLISHMENT, performing to capacity crowds. On American Television, he has performed comedy sketches on LATE NIGHT WITH DAVID LETTERMAN, THE CONAN OBRIEN SHOW, THE CHRIS ROCK SHOW, CHAPPELLES SHOW, MTV ODDVILLE, late night comedies seen on Cinemax, Showtime and HBO and has starred in many commercials. He is an Original Member of The Drilling Company, appearing in over twenty plays and having his work seen as the playwright of ten plays produced there, including BANG! THE CURSE OF JOHN WILKES BOOTH which was also seen at the New York International Fringe Festival. He is Author and Leading Actor in the shocking cinematic thriller DANSE MACUMBA! Recently deemed Dean of the Coney Island Sideshow Performers, Scott is Senior Cast Member of Coney Island Sideshows By The Seashore, the last true, traditional ten-in-one American Sideshow in Residence at Coney Island, amazing audiences with freak show sensations, magic and bringing thousands of people into the show as Outside Talker. He was named Worlds Greatest Sideshow Talker by British World Records, and is the subject of Gary Beebers BALLY-MASTER, Winner of First Place Documentary at eight Film Festivals around the World and currently seen on British Television. He is a graduate in Theatre from the University of Tulsa, an Original Member of Michael Moriartys Pottersfield Theatre Company and longtime student of the legendary acting teacher Wynn Handman. Bakers original plays have been performed around the U.S. and the United Kingdom.
