Little Red Riding Hood

Synopsis:
a traditional pantomime with some excrutiating coincidences. Little Red lives in a cottage in the forest with her father Robin and his henchman Will Scarlet. On the way to Granny Hood's house, Little Red is captured by the rascally Sheriff of Nottingham disguised as a wolf. In order to free Little Red, Robin takes part in an archery contest which he wins but is still imprisoned in Nottingham castle. Eventually all is set right by the appearance of an old beggar who miraculously turns out to be. . .. Well you know the rest.

Robinson Crusoe

Synopsis:
The tradional story with many twists. Beginning in the Land of Green Ginger, Hull where Robinson ships on board the good ship Quasibungo with a rascally Sea Captain Will atkins and his even more rascally mate, Freddy Friday. Somehow Robinsons Mother and girlfriend Polly Perkins end up aboard as well. Shipwrecked on a desert island, the hapless Robinson is catured by aztecs but escapes when his mother discovers a new beauty potion in the cokking pot that was going to boil him alive. In the end everyone lives happily ever after (of course)

Runaway Train, The

Synopsis:
The old railway is in ruins but Sam the signalman and Griselda the tea lady are planning to open it as a tourist attraction. Cub reporter Gillian arrives to get the story The rascally Bazzer and his musician sidekick Ozzie are out to put a stop to this happening by putting a bomb in the drains. Somewhere there is a horde of gold hidden and they want it.The climax of the play is when the old train on the line runs away and finally crashes whereupon all is revealed.
