Tell me, Lola, do you like sex?
Ehm, well, I guess so. . .yeah. . .
In Scandinavia you can make lots of money on sex.
Ehm. . . okay. . .
Marija, a young woman from Lithuania, dreams of becoming a beautician - instead she finds herself working the brothels of Copenhagen. We meet her in a detention cell, arrested for being drunk and disorderly. She has no means of identification, and she's not saying a word. This physically and emotionally charged one-woman show tells us the story of how she ended up there.

Bodies in Transit is Nina Larissa Bassett's first play based on An original idea by Iben Hendel Philipsen. Although fictitious, the story is based on extensive research, And many of the characters Are based on real people. Denmark's Mucca Divina seek A theatrical language that seamlessly fuses text-based drama with elements from different physical theatre traditions.
