Checklist For An Armed Robber
In 2002 , a young man rehearses for his first armed robbery on a bookstore in Newcastle. On the other side of the world, Chechen rebels hold Siege of the Moscow theatre, demanding liberation. One is a local, small time theft and the other an international political crisis, but both are born of a similar futility and powerlessness to be heard. Moving back and forth between Moscow and Newcastle, these real events are the basis for this exploration on what drives such acts of terror and the impact they hold on the victims.

Synopsis:
A simple but exiting fantasy that examines the violence and politics of young children's groups at play. A child who does not fit the roles and rules of these groups is often victimised and alienated in the beginnings of a pattern that, once set, continues like the crisp wax cells of the hive - unless something extraordinary occurs.

Hunger
Over three years, Australia's new writing theatre, Griffin theatre Company, presented fourteen unique short plays across its mainstage season. Seen for one night only, the fates, Seasons and the Seven Needs were three play cycles provoked by the classical mythology of man's inescapable destiny, the seasonal patterns and Maslow's Pyramid of Human Needs. Now , this eclectic and fascinating collection of ten minute plays by some of the country's most established and emerging playwrights becomes Short Circuit.

Light On The Hill
Synopsis:
Right outside the theatre is the Northcott Housing Commission estate. The vision for the building was majestic. A kind of utopia. An answer to the trauma of world wars and the depression. Today, however, the estate has become something of a war zone. Still in many ways a strong community, it is also the home of many horrific stories and high drama. Light on the Hill takes simple details from everyday life at Northcott to create a prism through which we glimpse Australia emerging through the struggles, wars, migration and politics of the twentieth century.

Singled Out
Synopsis:
''singled Out is a brand new inter-generational, multi-playwright project developed by creative producer and new work director Augusta Supple and supported by a professional production team of some of Sydney's most respected independent performers, musicians and playwrights. Responding to the prediction that by 2020, one in three living arrangements in Sydney will be that of solo households this new show is a heartfelt and hilarious adventure in the private lives of our neighbours, friends and relatives. Offering an insight into the lives of many, 'singled Out' is a kaleidoscopic series of portraits colliding and intersecting revealing flights of fancy, the gentle musings or the robust reflections on what it means to be living alone in a thriving dynamic city. Harnessing the creative imaginations of some of Australia's leading playwrights this is a unique celebration of our city, our private moments and public confessions exploring the joy and freedom of solo living and the sometimes hidden realities of the solo living person.' Trailer
All Jed's friends have moved to the city, but he still lives with his two mothers in a small town between the beach and the bush, on a train line with a city at either end. Waiting. He's not sure what he's waiting for, but in the meantime he works at the council investigating sinkholes in people's backyards. Since finishing high school, the frustrations of coastal life are looming large. And something is being hidden from him about the illness facing one of his mothers. This honest coming-of-age story finds friendship and humour in unexpected places. Introducing a cast of complex characters working through the everyday, Trailer is a darkly comic play set along the train tracks of New South Wales. Nominated for the 2017 AWGIE Award for Community and Youth Theatre.
