In fact, it's her religion. Maybe she's a record producer, maybe she's a film agent; what is dear is that she wants evan to write the screenplay of her life story. Just spend time with me, she says, and you'll learn all you need to know. To evan, who is gay, it's like an invitation into the world of auntie Maine, Sally Bowles and Holly Golightly all rolled into one. But once evan fools himself into believing he loves alexa, she vanishes, leaving him to foot the bill for all the dinners and armani suits they've gone through. Trying to find alexa, evan discovers a chain of people who have fallen under her spell and acted as her meal ticket. For alexa has no mo

Mr. & Mrs. Fitch
Synopsis:
Meet gossip columnists Mr. and Mrs. Fitch. When the social circuit no longer provides juicy morsels, when the pressure to create news in our never-ending news cycle becomes just a bit much, it's time to toss back the martinis, toss around the bon mots and realize that great celebrity can just appear out of thin air. This wicked, urbane comedy is a scathing look at who is in, who is out and who may not even exist at all.

Nance, The
Synopsis:
A nance, according to Webster's Dictionary, is "an effeminate or homosexual man." In the world of 1930's burlesque, a nance was a wildly popular character, a stereotypically camp homosexual man, most times played by a straight performer. In the Nance, playwright Douglas Carter Beane tells the story of Chauncey Miles (to be played by Nathan Lane), a headline nance performer in New York burlesque, who also happens to be a homosexual. Integrating burlesque sketches into his Drama, Beane paints, with humor and pathos, the portrait of a homosexual man, living and working in the secretive and dangerous gay world of 1930's New York, whose outrageous antics on the burlesque stage stand in marked contrast to his messy offstage life.

Xanadu
This is a new musical inspired by the 1980 film of the same name. It's described as "a musical love story about the Greek muse Clio, who descends from Mount Olympus to Venice Beach, California in 1980 to inspire a struggling artist, build the first roller disco and save the world-all while roller skating! But when her forbidden love with a mortal threatens to complicate things, chaos ensues-and the '80s begin." the score includes the hit songs "Magic," "Suddenly," "I'm alive," "Don't Walk away," "Have You Never Been Mellow," and the title tune.
