Treasure Island
Treasure Island
Synopsis:
Be taken on a magical trip into a world of pirates and princesses as one of the nation's favourite children's novels is given an Easter twist. See Jeremy Edwards (Hollyoaks, Holby City, Dancing on Ice) star as the hero of the hour Jim Hawkins, along with Silly Billy Bones (Ant Payne from Sevenoaks Pantomime), The ghost of 'Captain Flint' (Adam Hoffman), Jolly Roger (local superstar Tom Swift), Seadog Sally (Amanda Swift) and of course Long John Silver! (Tom Beard, BBC Three, Radio 5 Live) With the stars of Tunbridge Wells children's dance talent, the high seas adventures lead to a show packed with action, singing, cheering and booing, puppets, lots of colourful costumes, fantastic bright sets and maybe even a monkey pirate or two! Treasure Island is a spectacular children's show created to spark the children's imagination whilst also entertaining all the accompanying Mums, Dads, Grandmas and Granddads! It features a professional cast of actors and local children.
Notes:
When Robert Louis Stevenson wrote Treasure Island back in 1883, little did he know how many versions his tale of pirates and treasure maps would inspire.
