Fi was a published prose writer and book reviewer (for QWF magazine) when she began writing plays in 2002. Since then she has written and had performed a variety of full-length plays and sketches. She has been nominated for the Meyer-Whitworth Playwriting award 04 and the John Whiting Playwriting award 05. She's a member of the Phoenix Theatre Company, Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire; leads creativity and writing workshops around Gloucestershire (under the Scribendi logo); works in adult education (Performing Arts) and lives in cosy eden in a cottage in the woods. She has a wide range of comedy and Drama sketches that she has not yet assembled into collections and is also happy to write sketches on commission, so invites enquiries for such pieces. She is also interested in collaborating with Theatre companies and organisations over second/further productions of her performed work.

Evolution

Synopsis:

Joanna

Rising Son

Synopsis:
17 year old Will has two mothers. Frances wants to write mysteries; Chris wants to play guitar and join a band. When Will drops out of school he lands in a heap of questions that the mothers rush to answer, but they're not convincing. Interwoven with a mystery thriller, the play investigates the hopes and fears of a family on the verge of new self discoveries.
