Love-Girl And the Innocent, The
Synopsis:
Nemov is a new arrival at the camp, sent straight from the army front line to take charge of the prisoners. Confronted with the systems hypocrisy, he is pushed to the limits. How long can he endure the barbarity and injustice of the camp; a system that thrives on power, corruption, and sexual amorality? When Nemov meets Lyuba, one of the women prisoners - a 'love girl', he is tempted further, and forced to confront himself and how far he must betray his own moral and emotional loyalties.

Police
Synopsis:
the action takes place in a nameless totalitarian state ruled over with eerie contentment by an infant king and his uncle the regent. When 'the last remaining revolutionary' agrees to take an oath of loyalty to the state and so secure his release from prison, the chief of police seems less than happy. after all, the declaration could signal his own force's obsolescence, especially as his zealous sergeant, working as an agent provocateur, finds it impossible to stir up antigovernment sentiment among the unnaturally placid citizens. What are the police to do when everyone is utterly conformist?
