Onna No Honour
Onna No Honour
Synopsis:
Len Anderson is a raw fish out of water. the young Australian banker wanted a London posting, instead he got Tokyo. and now he's got more than he bargained for. Len doesn't understand Japan. He doesn't understand the customs, the language, or the people - especially his very straight colleague Ryuchi. and Len definitely doesn't understand the women, or onna, to use the Japanese word. Len has a lot to learn about onna, and honour as Ryuchi tells him. You need to get one to get the other, but which comes first? and is the answer really to be found in a karaoke bar? Onna No Honour is a comedy that peels the mask off realtions between men and women, east and West, imagination and reality. It is a plea to never judge people by appearances. and it's a warning to never attempt karaoke before drinking!
