After Penny
Synopsis:
a deceptively meek accountant recounts his story to a psychiatrist. a dream about a girl leads to an obsession that begins with harmless games, moves through stalking and kidnap and ends with murder. The play explores the psychotic nature of obsession from the viewpoint of the stalker.

All About Anne
Synopsis:
The play follows anne's rejuvenating and liberating journey of self-discovery, following a traumatic event that sent her on a downward spiral into the depths of depression. Unable to get attention from her career-obsessed husband, anne begins an affair with his boss, a man more than twenty years her senior. Her husband gets wind of his boss's affair and tries to discover who it is with. anne's proximity to the two men shows her just how ludicrous men's power politics can be and the play ends with her leaving both and setting out to live life for herself.

Case, The
Synopsis:
a young man witnesses a violent assault on a crowded tube train. Initially he is unwilling to get involved but, after reading appeals for witnesses in the press, his guilt gets the better of him. He confronts his anxieties and reluctantly gives his evidence to the police. The play explores the legal process from the viewpoint of this innocent bystander, from his initial statement, through the identity parade and on to the trial itself. It examines the effect on his confidence and on his outlook on life generally.

Laying The Axe

Schoolgirl Dreams
Synopsis:
On a hot afternoon, a man visits a prostitute He wants to see her only when she has put on a schoolgirl uniform. But when she appears, she is not the anonymous stranger he was expecting. Once their initial shock at seeing each other again in these somewhat bizarre circumstances has dissipated, their shared past is slowly revealed. But their stories are poles apart - whose version do we believe? The play explores the issues of prostitution and child abuse, asking questions without seeking to offer any solutions.

Tony falls in love with Julie. Julie falls in love with Tony. But their love is beset with difficulties. Strange Desire
Synopsis:
a middle-aged man discovers his wife's teenage diaries and reads of her early sexual experiences. He becomes obsessed with these events from the past and determines to track down the man involved. He engineers a meeting between his wife and her ex-lover, but the plan backfires and eventually she leaves him.

Strange Desire makes use of short monologues Addressed directly to the Audience, interspersed with brief interactions between the characters. It requires little or no set And A very simple lighting plot And so is ideal for festivals where short get-ins can be critical.

Uncoupled
Synopsis:
To their friends they were the perfect couple. adam and Suzanne - Suzanne and adam. Inseparable. But scratch a little below the two kids, car and conservatory and there's twenty six years of coping with a husband whose interest in sex has moved on from girly mags to a full-scale internet porn addiction. The shame, self-doubt, fight-back, breakdown and flight are all chronicled in Suzanne's tale of learning to deal with his obsession. Marriages can survive an extra-marital fling - but a thirty-a-day habit?
