1984
Synopsis:
In a world where even your thoughts are controlled and revolution is just around the corner, Julia and Winston begin a clandestine romance. . .With its predictions of globalisation, surveillance paranoia and control through language, George Orwell's classic futuristic tale is acutely relevant for our time. It is brought to life by the sensational Blind Summit theatre, who have recently received major international profile through their revolutionary work on Anthony Minghella's Olivier award winning Madam Butterfly. This startling new production combines physical theatre, puppetry and music to create a cutting-edge and thought-provoking piece of theatre.

Citizen Puppet
Synopsis:
It's political. It's verbatim. It's got puppets. Puppet pioneers Blind Summit Theatre collaborate with final year students from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama to present a verbatim puppet theatre experiment that delves into the lives of people on the political "fringe", in the build up to the general election. Using verbatim dialogue that expresses views that might otherwise be censored, the puppets reveal unspeakable truths (and lies). Immigration, housing, immigration, tax fraud, immigration... The puppets don't have opinions, they just repeat what they hear.

Heads, The
Synopsis:
Disembodied heads and shadowy figures emerge from the darkness, conjuring images of dream-like hallucination. their expressions remain still but their emotions transform as they pass before our eyes, leaving the question, is it all real or just in our heads? Blurring imagination and distorting reality like never before, the multi award-winning Blind Summit return with the world premiere of the Heads: a modernist marionette stream of consciousness inspired by cubism and surrealism. Accompanied by an original musical score, Blind Summit journey into the depths of the mind to follow the life of a head. Featuring a trio of artistes, a paper ballerina and a puppet Charlie Chaplin, the Heads promises a cascade of visually hypnotic puppetry where seeing means believing. Take a trip inside your head. Take a trip with the Heads.

Low Life
Synopsis:
a series of sketches set in the ramshackle bar the Drunken Puppeteer. Here, the Low Life Cabaret unfolds, where puppets and people live side by side,
Notes:
Inspired by Bukowski's novel, Pulp, this is a series of vignettes about the lives of a group of characters who frequent a seedy downtown bar. By turns amusing and moving, we see into the lives of action-hero plumbers, tiny detectives and lost divas, with the puppeteers providing the narrative thread and exquisitely manipulating their characters.

Meet Fred
Synopsis:
Meet Fred. He's just a regular guy who wants to get on in life: get a job, find a nice girl, settle down. The only problem is that Fred is a puppet, and that's where his dependency issues start. Day to day life is tough when you rely on three other guys being with you at all times. Out for a quiet walk, on a date, in the bathroom, life is never simple for the puppets among us. A "massively entertaining" comedy theatre show, Meet Fred is about an outsider trying to make his mark in a world in which he needs a lot of help. Witty, poignant and full of Fred's badass attitude, it features a mouthy puppet and live performance by actors with and without learning disabilities.
