Buskers - the Revue
Synopsis:
Buskers is a revue of linked (slightly surreal) sketches that feature a range of entertainment with comedy, dance and various music. This includes - 'Bohemiam Rhapsody', 'Flash', 'the Wall', 'sodomy and Masturbation', 'sex Bomb', Sunset Boulevard', 'Use What You Got', 'I'm So Worried' and 'always Look at the Bright Side of Life'. This stage production has a style of the 80s comedy 'the Young Ones' - imaginative, fun and just plain silly. the production consists of a series of sketches that revolve around two silly young buskers (Boyd and Parsons), sitting one cold evening in their rented lodgings. Both characters happen to be completely skint and in need of the 3 main things - food, drink and sex. the 2 clueless characters spend the evening coming up with foolish ideas that never work and blunder their way into embarrassing situations.
