Synopsis:
Henry Marsden is a pillar of society. He plays the organ at church and leads the congregation in singing. However, in private he is a drunk and a wife beater. He tells his wife, Nan to seduce the doctor and have a baby by him - so that he can have someone else to torment. Nan asks for a divorce. Marsden refuses and the household servant shoots him dead
