Richard Boraman became interested in writing for the theatre through the New Zealand Theatre Federation in 1970. Two of his one-act plays were produced by the Elmwood Players in 1972/73. He has written for theatre reviews and for television. Born in 1938, he graduated in chemistry from the University of Otago. He lives in Dunedin where he works as a research chemist. (1979)
