Buckley, the musician, has wrangled an artist in residence stay at a university. He figures it for an easy ride until he learns that he has to teach his music, a real problem since he doesn't know music terminology. He is forced to accept the help of Riley, an irritating but brilliant junior high student, who promotes the course shamelessly and uses his math skills and ingenuity to help Buck translate his unique music into teachable methods. Rich with insight, humor, and music Crossing the Ice will be a show unlike any you have ever seen.
