Everything That is the Case For Two Bright Women On the Eve of the Great War Among Other Elegant Lies
Synopsis:
A raucous night is assured as two subversive teenage girls lay siege to the exclusively male worlds of philosophy and power in an England on the brink of World War I. The audience is immediately swept into a highly exclusive (and comical) early-20th-century, booze-fueled salon, led by Saint Fortune theater company. This lofty performance abruptly ends, however, as Lena and Maddie, our protagonists, attempt to crash the Mens Only affair. What follows is a bit of a theatrical circus: these impossibly smart and informed young women destroy Oxford's Bodleian Library and escape to the woods where they create their own school, conducting outrageous experiments as teachers and pupils, both.
