Carol Boyd has been involved with Drama 13, a small local amateur group based in Birmingham, for over 12 years. She has acted and been part of the backstage crew for over 30 productions and co-wrote a pantomime in 2002 called Dame Dizzy and the Magic Ingredient. In 2008 she took the plunge to write on her own, a daunting challenge, and created the Pirate and the Sea Witch.
