the Dice first performed at Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 1960 together with the Two-Timers, both debut plays by student Forbes Bramble ,then 21. Play then televised and produced by a wide number of groups around the world. the Two-Timers was main Festival production for Dokumenta 1963/1964, Kassel, Germany. Bramble followed with Granada Television Play for Today, "When Silver Drinks". For further biography see "anger and after" by John Russell Taylor a record of new Theatre following "Look Bac k in anger" an architect, Bramble gave up writing for some time to concentrate on running his own practice, latterly returning to writing, this time novels. He is the author of eight published novels.
