Accidental Lives Of Memories, The
Synopsis:
In Frank Bramwell's play middle age seems to kick in at around 25. Dressed in shirts randomly decorated with cut-off sleeves, the 'class of 2001' appears to be deep into midlife crises within a few years of leaving school. all may yet be well, however, since Jimmy, Bob, Emily, Sue and the rest of these kindergarten escapees (they spend a fair amount of time tossing confectionery boxes to one another like particularly infantile Oompah Loompahs) turn out to be residents in the brain of Edward, a young lawyer by training but a writer by aspiration. Speaking in verse, Edward has the power to rearrange his old classmates' destinies to happier ends and in the process prove himself an author. Based on the evidence here, Edward should stick with his day job.

Kicking Off
Synopsis:
Birmingham, England The Riots, 2011/2025. 48 hours, for some people a life time... What happened, was it all a dream, a dream that went horribly wrong? Enraged voices down the years accusing and bewildered. It is 2025 and rioters are once more taking to the streets, young and old both caught up in the ensuing mayhem; shop owners, professional people, ordinary housewives - as well of course police officers, politicians and members of the media all unwittingly paying the cost. Kicking Off is an explosive behind-the-scenes look at why Riots actually happen, and how ultimately we are all deeply affected; a play that seeks to find the truth beneath the popular distortions, telling it as it really was - and how it might yet be. Frank Bramwell's latest play looks forward to a future, a time when today is but a dim memory, but when hope is the only way forward...

Macbeth Killing Time
Synopsis:
Macbeth lies there, all alone, besieged by the voices of his guilt, forever preventing him from sleeping. This is the very same (but dead) Macbeth from the original Shakespeare tragedy except this one is 400 years old! Somehow hes been overlooked until two Jobbing Angels, Delos & Kramm, are ordered to accommodate him. Which means putting him on trial and sending him on his way to the rest of eternity . . . . .Macbeth is clearly guilty and deserves all he gets doesnt he? An intriguing celestial courtroom drama, in which Macbeth questions the very meaning of his time on earth and ultimately ours.

Shooting Clouds
Synopsis:
this play links the late 1950s recession with the world financial situation of today but, though economic difficulties trigger part of the plot and a bank manager is one of its characters, this is not a play about capitalism and economic theory but a personal family story that reflects wider issues as well as exploring the conflict between first born sons and younger siblings across two generations. It is set in the American South, in a small town called Sluice Creek where banker Donald Pearson doubles as preacher. His elder brother John inherited the family store. John intends to hand it on to his son Will though it is his younger son Gilbert who has more interest in the business. Will wants to be a writer and is looking for a way out - haven't we been here before? ann, a local girl from a difficult home is keen on him but he's not quite so interested in her.
