Ms. Brooker is an actor and writer with training from HB Studio in New York, The British American Drama Academy in Oxford, England, Equity Showcase in Toronto, the National Voice Intensive in Vancouver, and Company of Rogues in Calgary, Alberta. Ms. Brooker premiered Craving, her first full length production as both writer and performer, at the 2003 Vancouver Fringe Festival, and was awarded Best Original Script and Best Female Actor for her performance of Craving at the 2004 Calgary Regional One Act Play Festival. Ms. Brooker performed Craving to sold out audiences and outstanding reviews at the 2004 Edmonton Fringe Festival, and re-wrote it for a performance by a cast of five for Fire Exit Theatre (Calgary) in 2008. She revived Craving for performance at the Cherry Lane Theatre as part of the New York International Fringe Festival in 2011. Ms. Brooker lives in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada with her husband, Dave, and daughters Eliza and Tess.
