Jen Browne is an actor, writer, and director currently based in New York. She was raised primarily in NJ and attended Rowan University receiving a degree in Theater Arts. She also studied Collaborative Theatre and Performance at Queens University in Belfast, N.I. Her play Call Me She, co-written with Danielle Velkoff, appeared as part of the 2012 Kitchen Riots Festival. She regularly contributes short plays to the Learning Stages' Play-in-a-Day Festival in NJ. Her play For the Birds co-written and produced with actor/writer Siobhan Donnellan premiered in the 2010 Unfringed Festival in Limerick Ireland followed by a run in the 2010 New York International Fringe Festival. She is currently developing her first solo full length play under the tutelage of the very talented staff at Einhorn School of Performing Arts (ESPA). She is currently a company member of The Deconstructive Theatre Project and a full time program associate at the Irish Arts Center focusing on film, children's programming and visual arts.
