Jamie Bruss began her writing career as a poet and self-published a small book of poetry in 1998. Under the guidance of friend and mentor, Christopher Willard, she discovered the thrill of theater and has dedicated her efforts to writing for the stage ever since. She collaborated with Willard to complete six professional theater productions, including the Denver Post's Ovation award winner, Tribal Tales of Africa. Their plays have been performed throughout Denver, Boulder, and Breckenridge. Ms. Bruss currently teaches Writing and Literature at Pueblo Community College and takes advantage of her summers off to travel the world with her husband, Michael Patti.
