Lucinda Burnett (Lucinda Cardey) received an MA Distinction in Advanced Theatre Practice: Writing for Performance from Central School of Speech and Drama in 2008, where she wrote her first play Correspondence. In 2009 she was part of the Future Perfect Attachment with Paines Plough/ChAnnel Four. In the same year she was also a writer for a Company Residency at Puppet Centre Trust at BAC. In July 2010 she was a writer for the Old Vic New Voice 24 Hour Plays in London. In the same year her full length screenplay Some Of Us, for Oval House Theatre, was screened at the Ritzy Cinema and she took part in Time Warner Ignite at the Old Vic Tunnels London. In 2012 Lucinda wrote two short plays for Blast Off! at Theatre 503 and Soho Theatre and will take part in a Big Ideas Workshop with Firehouse Creative Productions.
