Delia's Song

Synopsis:
a play with music which centers on the ladies of the homefront in WWII America. We follow Delia and her fellow singers, the are the Gardenia's a singing trio in San Diego's Gas Lamp District. Delia marries Manny, her betrothed, but when the realities of the war and the uncertainty of it all hit home with Manny's demise, she finds herself alone and lost.a WWII Drama with music of the time, this freshman effort garnered raves from Los Angeles papers. Critic archie Rothman said it best, "It tells the story from a Latino-American perspective - their story is universally American - I can't praise enough all those involved in making Delia's Song one of the better productions of the year. See it and enjoy its nostalgic music, emotional Drama, fine performances and excellent staging.

Exmagare

Synopsis:
This critically acclaimed world premiere production marked the sophomore play by playwright Camareno. It was the story of a young brother 17, and sister 15 who find themselves in the middle of a scandal at a fictitious mission in Old California; they claim to see visions of the Virgin Mother. the Franciscan monk who came to interrogate the youths uncovers a secret he thought was long forgotten. Camareno was hailed by the La Times as a "vivid writer" who explored the "mysteries of faith while exposing the violence that baptized California in blood."
