Gatekeeper's Macbeth, The
Synopsis:
A new vision of the dark and bloody story of Macbeth told from the point of view of the grotesque, bawdy and hilarious gatekeeper of Shakespeare s play interspersed with musical scenes from Verdi's magnificent opera. The gatekeeper welcomes us to the now disused and haunted Glamis Castle where we see Lady Macbeth anxiously awaiting her husband's return from battle as the rich tapestry of tragedy, comedy and supernatural intrigue begins to unfold.
