Daniel Caine has worked professionally as an actor since the age of 11, when he appeared in the West End production of Oliver! at the London Palladium. Since then he has trained at The Birmingham School of Acting (First Class BA (hons) in Acting) and the Royal Academy of Music. Just recently Daniel took on the lead roles in Little Me (Ye Old Rose and Crown) and received a string of rave reviews. He has a love of text and character and is delighted to be using all he has learned as an actor to fulfil his role as Director/Dramaturge for The Mill on the Floss.

Mill On The Floss, The

Synopsis:
George Eliot's tragic and romantic story of morality versus desire is brought to life by Composer Thomas Sutcliffe. He explores Eliot's work through a fusion of Musical Theatre and Folk traditions. As Maggie Tulliver's family fortune declines, she struggles to remain dutiful but forever yearning to be wild and free. Maggie is desperate to do right by her beloved brother Tom, but her heart leads her down a path of temptation. Will the rift between brother and sister ever be reconciled?
